Meet Our Team
Practice Manager

Michele Knapp
Practice Manager
Having always enjoyed the opportunity to help people, I’ve been fortunate enough to spend the last 25+ years working in the healthcare industry. After many years in California, I was able to head back to the east coast. I believe relationships are the essential assets of any highly successful team. They are the building blocks that structure stability. I truly look forward to the kind-hearted, caring team of professionals I’m privileged to work with on a daily basis. I’d also like to say how thankful I am for the amazing patients I continue to meet. It’s one of my favorite parts about being involved in this field. When outside of the office, I enjoy spending time with my two amazing kids, friends, and family.
Treatment Coordinators

Isis
Treatment Coordinator
Before coming to SBOMS, I started in the dental field at the age of 16 working for a general dentist. I left general dentistry and worked for 10 years as the head assistant for an oral surgery office. Most recently, I was the office manager for two years at an oral surgery office. With all the positions I’ve held in the dental field, I find that being an assistant is where I am most comfortable. The doctors and staff at SBOMS are extremely pleasant to work with and I am happy to have found my new home here. When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my family. I am married to my husband for 20 years and have two children who I treasure. I enjoy dancing, playing competitive sports, and spending time with my extended family. My family and I are big Giant, Jet, and Yankee fans.

Alisa
Treatment Coordinator
I have been with SBOMS for 5 years, and have had the pleasure of learning from and working with some of the best surgeons and assistants. Here at SBOMS, we go above and beyond to make sure each patient has a relaxing stress free experience. Outside of work, I enjoy long walks with my dog Xena, and spending time with my family and friends.
Administrative Team

Julia
Lead Administrative Assistant
I am originally from São Paulo, Brazil, and moved to the United States in 2021. My background is in IT, and I am certified in Software and Algorithm Development. I found my first opportunity in the dental field after moving here and decided to stay, not only because I enjoyed it but because I saw a real chance to grow and challenge myself. At SBOMS, I can combine my love for communication with my analytical side, always motivated by new challenges. Outside of work, I enjoy life’s simple pleasures with my husband, a fresh cup of coffee, our thriving plants, and the sweet tradition of discovering new desserts together.

Reyna
Administrative Assistant
I’m from Veracruz, Mexico. I have been living in the Mount Kisco area for 4 years, working as an au pair with a lovely family. I have always enjoyed helping people and learning new things. Working at SBOMS is such a rewarding experience that I truly enjoy. In my free time I like to spend time with my loved ones and friends, read and do activities.

Sabrina
Insurance Coordinator
I’m originally from Yonkers and began my career in billing at a pediatric office, where I discovered how much I enjoy helping families navigate their care with kindness and patience. Now in Mount Kisco with SBOMS, I continue to bring that same friendly, compassionate approach to every patient I assist. Outside of work, I love staying active with a good run and spending time with my pets, who always keep me smiling.
Surgical Assistants

Nury
Surgical Assistant
I have been with SBOMS for 10 years, but have worked in Oral Surgery for 35+ years as a dental assistant. I enjoy working with such a great team of doctors and staff. I was born in Colombia and I speak fluent Spanish. Being bilingual has allowed me to build a strong rapport with our Spanish-speaking patients. When I am not at work, I enjoy going to the gym and spending time with my three children and my grandson.

Patty
Surgical Assistant
I have been a dental assistant for 37 years. I have worked in general dentistry, periodontal, and oral surgery. I was drawn to the dental field as a young child because of an unfortunate circumstance, and I know firsthand that dental anxiety is real. I try to comfort patients that are anxious in the dental chair. I have been married to my husband John for 28 years and we have two children, Samantha and Matthew. I enjoy traveling, cooking, and spending time with my family.

Piper
Surgical Assistant
I am originally from Port St. Lucie, Florida, and I am fairly new to this field. I quickly became passionate about this industry. My goal as a dental assistant is to make patients comfortable and not be scared to come see us. I do my best to assure they have a positive experience and build trust with every patient. Outside of the office, you can find me hanging out with my cats, Fish and Chef, visiting friends and family, cozying up with a good book, or drawing.

Daniel
Surgical Assistant
As a Surgical Dental Assistant, I bring both skill and heart to every procedure, ensuring patients feel comfortable, informed, and genuinely cared for. My passion for oral surgery and patient care drives me to provide the highest level of support while easing patient anxieties with warmth and reassurance. I take pride in making a difference and ensuring each patient leaves feeling supported and confident in their care.

Katherine
Surgical Assistant
Born and raised in Westchester, NY, I began my career in dentistry as an assistant in 2009 and have always taken pride in providing exceptional patient care. With a background in general dentistry and now as an experienced surgical assistant, I enjoy incorporating all aspects of my dental knowledge to ensure patients feel informed and comfortable. Being part of the SBOMS team is truly rewarding. When I’m not at work, you can find me spending time with my rescue dog, Diamond, or enjoying life as a newlywed.

Alana
Surgical Assistant
I previously worked at SBOMS as a front desk receptionist in 2022. After working in other medical departments, I realized my passion was in dentistry and returned to SBOMS, which I consider home. I decided to expand my knowledge and become a dental assistant. When not at work, you’ll find me reading, watching movies, and spending time with my loved ones and my cats.
