Meet Dr. Heather Fugazy

Dr. Heather Fugazy is from Westchester County, New York, and grew up in Yorktown Heights. She attended The Ursuline School in New Rochelle before earning her Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Villanova University.

Dr. Fugazy received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from New York University College of Dentistry and completed a General Practice Residency at Westchester Medical Center. During her residency, she expanded her restorative clinical expertise and developed a strong interest in oral and maxillofacial surgery. She went on to complete her Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency at New York Medical College/Westchester Medical Center. During her training, Dr. Fugazy gained extensive experience across the full scope of the specialty, including wisdom tooth extractions, dental implants, facial trauma orthognthatic surgery, anesthesia and cosmetic facial procedures.

Dr. Fugazy is Board Certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. Additionally, she is a fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, a member of the New York State Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the American Dental Association, the New York State Dental Association and the 9th District Dental Society. Dr. Fugazy is the current President of the Westchester South Dental Society.

Dr. Fugazy is married to her husband, Will and the proud mother of Penelope, Will and Margot. Outside of her practice, Dr. Fugazy enjoys golfing, staying active, traveling and trying new cuisines with her family. Dr. Fugazy is dedicated to providing high-quality, patient-centered surgical care and is proud to practice in the community where she was raised.
