Meet Dr. Baker
Dr. Jason Baker graduated from Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine. At NSU, Dr. Baker participated in the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Honors Program, received the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons Award for Outstanding Achievement in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (OMS), was awarded the Horace Wells Scholarship, and was elected the Vice-President of the student body. After graduation, Dr. Baker completed his OMS training at New York Medical College / Westchester Medical Center (WMC). During his four years at WMC, he gained experience in every facet of oral and maxillofacial surgery.
Prior to dental school, Dr. Baker attended Union College where he was a 3-year starter for the NCAA Division III football team. After Union, he was a chemistry and biology teacher at The Harvey School in Katonah, NY. There he also coached varsity baseball and soccer. Dr. Baker continues to have a passion for teaching. Presently, he is a clinical instructor in the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery division at The Albert Einstein College of Medicine / Montefiore Medical Center.
Dr. Baker is Board Certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and Board Certified by the American Dental Society of Anesthesia. Additionally, he is a fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, a member of the New York State Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the American Dental Association, the New York State Dental Association and the Northern Westchester Dental Society.
Dr. Baker is married to Lauren, with 2 children. Aside from spending time with his family, Dr. Baker is an avid football fan and enjoys fishing with Drs. Arnoldt and Lieberman.
